Utah will PAY YOU to redo your yard!
Introducing the Utah Landscape Lawn Exchange program, now giving Utah residents an exciting opportunity to get money back when they replace grass with other landscaping materials that require less water.

Good news: Concrete curbing qualifies for this rebate!
You can get paid to save money on your water bill!
Under the Utah Landscape Lawn Exchange program, participants are encouraged to replace their natural grass lawns with a combination of concrete curbing and drought-tolerant plant coverage. It's important to note that concrete curbing does not count towards meeting the minimum 35% plant coverage requirement.

Here's how it works: If you decide to remove 1000 sq ft of lawn, you can incorporate concrete curbing within this area. However, it's essential to understand that the concrete curbing will not contribute to the 35% plant coverage requirement.
For instance, if you install 650 sq ft of concrete curbing and gravel, for example, you will need to allocate the remaining 35% of the area for planting drought-tolerant perennials, shrubs, and/or trees.

Before you start your landscape project, make sure you connect with your local water district for pre-approval of your rebate!
We are excited for you to have the opportunity to qualify for the Utah Landscape Lawn Exchange program, empowering residents to create water-efficient and visually appealing landscapes.
By combining concrete curbing with drought-tolerant plant coverage, participants can enhance their outdoor spaces while contributing to sustainable landscaping practices in Utah.
